Flanders Classics
August - September (editions 2019 & 2021)
“Het Gordelfestival” is an annual event with concerts, family activities and walking and cycling tours through the Flemish municipalities around Brussels. The festival is organized by vzw de Rand and Flanders Classics in collaboration with the province of Flemish Brabant.
Edition 2021
After a slimmed-down edition in 2020, 11,000 participants were able to walk and cycle like never before during the week from August 28 to September 5.
During the closing event on Sunday September 5 2021, the park in Huizingen was transformed into a paradise for children, including a VIK village (Very Important Kid), many bouncy castles, food trucks and a large stage with performances by Buurman, Camille en de nieuwe Mega Mindy.
