Fly Over is an open air event that takes place on the B401 in Ghent. The B401 connects the E40 and E17 motorways with the city's ringroad and brings the highway to the heart of the city. The city has long been seeking to address this strip to take steps towards sustainable mobility and improved quality of life in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
For the second year in a row, the city of Ghent asked Springstof to take over the B401 on Car Free Sunday. And so it happened. On September 16, during Fly Over, inhabitants could walk over this iconic viaduct. In the surrounding parks, as well as on top of the B401, people could enjoy food & drinks, art, music, yoga & other activities.
